Do not stay here! For years I had wished to travel to India. However, staying at the Hotel Royal Plaza, was the worst hotel experience ever. The staff are extremely rude. They do not greet, avoid eye contract, outright ignore when greeting them or asking a question. Staff are also extremely unhelpful. When ordering food during dinner or at the brewery, we were totaled ignored and even after asking for a menu and placing an order, 90 minutes later, we were still not serve. You feel extremely unwelcome here by all the staff. Upon checking in, the room had not been clean in weeks. There was dust everywhere in the bedroom, including the bed. The bed sheets are filthy. They were covered in stains and dirt marks. I had to request several times during our stay for the bedsheets to the changed. There were no towels in the room, no soap, no toilet paper, no gowns and no bottled water. Only after requesting again several times from the help desk, did someone come assist begrudgingly. Twice, after returning to the room after a day exploring the city, the rooms had not cleaned. India is a magnificent place to explore. However, returning to the filthy, unfriendly and unwelcoming hotel after a busy and exciting day, only dampened our mood and experience. I would highly recommend that you do not stay here. It is not worth the money, and more so, it will like ours, ruin our experience at the end of the day. It is actually ironic that the hotel is name “Royal Plaza”, as there is honestly nothing regal about their customer service, food or rooms.

Hotel is very old. Lobby is very nice but rooms need major upgrading. Booked 2 rooms. Staffs are nice. Ut they just are not ysed to smiling at guests. But request were fulfilled even if not immediate.

I read the reviews and had some disbelief at the reviews that talked about many things not working in the room. Unfortunately, that is true. In my room, the heat didn’t work, the phone didn’t work, and the daily cleaning service didn’t replenish my towels only took them away. The management offered to send a blanket and heater, but despite two in-person, at the front desk requests (because my room phone didn’t work), these things never arrived. It was pretty cold at night, and my light hand washing didn’t dry over 48 hrs. Also, it’s not really walkable to anywhere… it’s a big traffic circle. Thankful to have a driver.

1. The amount paid for the room is not appropriate for the price paid. 2. The cleanliness of the room is not as clean as it should be. The chair covers are very old and torn. 3. The refrigerator is not cold and is very old. 4. The safe cannot be locked because the battery in the safe does not have a battery. 5. When delivering the room to the customer, the staff should check the cleanliness, completeness of the appliances such as the refrigerator, safe, and bedroom to see if they are ready for use. The room is quite old and not worth the price paid at 3,600 baht per night.

Hotel needs to focus and improve on their sound proofing of the rooms. Could clearly hear the next door room individual speaking on his phone and the songs played from the room. You can opt for the little more minimalistic designed rooms, view the rooms before staying in. Overall the room was clean and nice. Aman is very helpful on the reg. counter

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at hotel royal plaza  . The staff was very helpful professional and welcoming , making sure every details was telemetry care of I would Esparza like to mention Shania who was extremely helpful kind and attentive thoroughly my stay her warm hospitality and support made the experience even more memorable
